Terms and Conditions
1. What ShiftSwap is
ShiftSwap is the internal staff-scheduling tool of Scarlet Pub, provided by its management to current employees so they can view the weekly schedule and request shift swaps or shift covers. It is available only to staff accounts created by a manager and is not a public service.
2. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with a one-time code sent by text message to the mobile number you enter on the sign-in screen. Keep your phone secure. Anyone with access to your texts could act on your behalf in ShiftSwap. Tell a manager immediately if your number changes or your phone is lost.
3. Text messaging terms
ShiftSwap sends login codes when you request them and, if you opted in, shift-scheduling notifications by SMS, as described in our Privacy Policy. These Terms do not themselves grant SMS consent. Shift-notification texts require the separate optional checkbox on the sign-in screen, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Message frequency varies with schedule activity; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Schedule changes
A swap or cover takes effect only after the other employee and a manager have both approved it. Until you receive a confirmation message, you remain responsible for your originally scheduled shift. Managers may adjust the schedule at any time; the schedule shown in ShiftSwap and confirmed by managers is the authoritative one.
5. Acceptable use
Use ShiftSwap only for legitimate scheduling of your own shifts. Do not attempt to access other employees' accounts, respond to requests not addressed to you, or disrupt the service. Access may be removed when employment ends or if these terms are violated.
6. No warranty
ShiftSwap is provided as-is as a convenience. While we work to keep it accurate and available, management does not guarantee uninterrupted service and is not liable for scheduling issues arising from missed or delayed messages. When in doubt, confirm with your manager directly.
